About the Job
As an integral member of our Service Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support for repair and service activities across Alfa Laval's Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE), High Speed Separator (HSS), and Separator (SEP) product lines. You will serve as a key technical resource for internal teams, sales representatives, customers, and service center operations, helping to solve complex repair challenges, support customer equipment troubleshooting, and drive continuous process improvements. Currently, this is an on-site opportunity located in La Porte, TX.
As a part of the team, you will:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer equipment, repair processes, and multiple product lines.
- Coordinate, prioritize, and track service jobs through the workshop while communicating status updates to the sales team and customers.
- Research equipment history, interpret drawings and blueprints, support special parts design, and collaborate with engineering, vendors, and workshop teams to develop effective repair solutions.
- Schedule and host customer inspections and equipment testing activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S projects, process enhancements, and support for business systems such as ONE4AL.
- Maintain technical databases, repair documentation, inventory records, and spare parts information.

What You Know
You have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent with relevant experience, and:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in repair, reconditioning, manufacturing, job shop, or customer service environments.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, with a strong understanding of machining and welding techniques.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a customer-focused mindset.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the U.S. and internationally as business needs require.
