Job Description
What will you contribute?
The TP2 - Developer will be responsible for building new features, participating in upgrades, and delivering customizations as per functional specifications provided by customers. The role involves designing solutions to meet customer requirements and collaborating closely with development peers and regional teams.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and perform unit tests of customizations and integrations for Finastra Lending Applications.
- Participate in upgrades.
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Develop user interfaces using Angular framework.
- Implement back-end functionalities using Java and Spring Boot.
- Utilize Maven or Gradle as build tools to manage project dependencies and deployments. Azure DevOps preferred.
- Work with Git version control to manage source code and collaborate with other team members.
- Participate in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, ensuring timely delivery of software features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Familiarize yourself with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems for development and deployment environments.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and retrieval from databases required
- Strong Java skills
- Experience in Angular development, including building responsive UI.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot framework for building scalable and efficient applications.
- Knowledge of build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Understanding of Git version control system and its workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum or Kanban.
- Exposure to Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills and transparency
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of software development life cycles is a plus
