As the Manager of Technical Accounting and Reporting, you will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial reporting and accounting processes. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of technical accounting principles and the capacity to consolidate financial information within the organization. The Technical Accounting and Reporting Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and correct reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll do:

Develop and maintain consolidation procedures, methodologies, and templates

Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

Assist in the timely and accurate preparation and review of internal and external reporting and related supporting schedules.

Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve the financial reporting and consolidation processes

Monitor new US GAAP and SEC releases and lead the implementation as applicable to the company.

Proven ability to conduct in-depth technical accounting research and complete related technical accounting memos.

Perform technical accounting research and analysis on a variety of accounting and financial reporting topics and completion of related technical accounting memos.

Review and explain balance sheet and income statement fluctuations.

Collaborate with external auditors to address accounting-related queries and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

Assist with ad-hoc projects as necessary.

The experience you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
-
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
-
6+ years of relevant experience in technical accounting and public accounting.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP.

Proficient in SEC reporting and technical accounting research.

Experience with NetSuite and Workiva strongly preferred.

Exemplary attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work autonomously and well as part of a larger team

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation for this position in the US ranges between $100,000 - $150,000 USD annually + applicable bonus. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
