About the Role:

As our Technical Account Manager, you’ll be the cornerstone of our relationship with a key customer, becoming an expert in their operations and ensuring seamless integration of EROAD’s cutting-edge solutions. With a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, you bring a wealth of knowledge that could stem from Technical Sales, Product Management, or even Technical Support. Your solid understanding of technology must enable you to provide technical guidance on new features, troubleshoot customer queries, resolve bugs, and navigate outages with confidence and ease.

You’ll excel in distilling customer requirements and translating them into actionable insights for our technology team, ensuring we not only meet but exceed expectations. Your experience with Enterprise customers gives you the strategic vision to see the bigger picture—managing change, driving implementations, and tackling challenges head-on. By working closely with our Customer Success, Product Development, and Engineering teams, you’ll ensure that our client’s needs are always at the forefront within EROAD.

In this role, you’ll blend technical acumen with strong relationship-building skills, becoming an indispensable advisor who drives both customer satisfaction and business growth. You’ll have the flexibility to work from our client’s corporate HQ in Houston (up to 3 days a week) and from home, with travel required to various customer sites across the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Champion: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring our customer’s voice is heard loud and clear while leveraging EROAD’s innovative technology to meet their needs.
  • Trusted Advisor: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key customer stakeholders, including executive sponsors, by deeply understanding their business and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Technical Expert: Master our product and the client’s operations to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and provide insights that drive success.
  • Strategic Partner: Collaborate with Customer Success and cross-functional teams to align on product enhancements, streamline implementations, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Value Creator: Identify trends from common support issues, recommend product improvements, and proactively seek opportunities to drive customer value and business growth.
  • Account Growth: Actively pursue business development within existing accounts, contributing to upsells and add-on sales that enhance our partnership with the client.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Customer-Centric Visionary: You’re passionate about ensuring the customer’s voice drives our technology, and you’re dedicated to delivering solutions that make a real impact.
  • Technical Savvy: Your technical expertise allows you to confidently troubleshoot, fix bugs, and manage outages, ensuring smooth and reliable operations.
  • Relationship Architect: You’ve built a career on creating strong, trusted relationships with enterprise customers, guiding them through complex challenges with ease.
  • Strategic Thinker: Your ability to translate customer needs into actionable technology solutions is unparalleled, ensuring alignment and long-term success.
  • Problem-Solving Prodigy: You thrive on solving problems, creating value, and driving outcomes that benefit both the customer and EROAD.
  • Leadership Qualities: You have a natural ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor others, and foster a culture that prioritizes customer success.
