The job
As a senior technical support engineer specializing in marine outfitting, you will provide full-cycle AVEVA Marine and E3D software technical support for shipyard and offshore customers. You will join an efficient, customer-centric after-sales technical team to resolve core technical issues onsite and remotely, ensure stable marine project delivery, and help customers achieve digital design value.
Key responsibilities
- Focus on after-sales technical support for all Outfitting modules of AVEVA Marine and E3D, covering full-process after-sales work including remote & on-site software commissioning, fault troubleshooting and daily customer operation guidance.
- Solve various software technical problems encountered by customers in the integrated design of marine outfitting disciplines, ensuring stable software operation and smooth project delivery.
- Communicate with customers to collect after-sales technical pain points and software usage challenges, and deliver reasonable optimization suggestions to internal teams.
- Provide standardized after-sales software training and technical guidance to customers, helping improve their overall software operation capabilities.
- Reproduce and analyze complex technical faults, conduct root cause analysis, and complete full issue closure in strict accordance with company after-sales procedures.
Essential requirements
- Solid professional knowledge of piping (PIPE) and extensive practical experience in shipyard piping production design, with a good understanding of marine outfitting business workflows and industry design specifications.
- Proficient in AVEVA Marine / AVEVA E3D software with hands-on project experience in marine outfitting discipline applications.
- Customer-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities, able to independently handle complex technical support scenarios for marine projects.
- Competent English reading, writing and communication skills to support daily technical alignment and technical document delivery.
- Self-motivated and stress-resistant, capable of efficiently coordinating and supporting multiple parallel projects.
