Vast is looking for a Teamcenter Administrator, reporting to the Director of Information Systems, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.
This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach location.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Teamcenter/NX user support for user accounts, user access to data, workflow tasks, assembly configurations, materials management, data model, reuse libraries, part families, system-interfaces, preferences, NX/RAC/AWC UI configurations, etc
- Perform root-cause analysis for issues with user accounts, user access to data, performing workflow tasks, assembly configurations, materials management, data model, reuse libraries, part families, system-interfaces, preferences, NX/RAC/AWC UI configurations, etc
- Follow Teamcenter/NX system-configuration management processes to make updates to users accounts, roles, groups, access rules, workflow templates, revision rules, materials, data model changes, reuse libraries, part families, system-interfaces, preferences, NX/RAC/AWC UI configurations, etc
- Follow company processes to convert Teamcenter/NX requirements into system configuration changes
- Follow company processes to gather, document, & refine Teamcenter/NX requirements
- Participate in coordination of contractors to convert user requirements into Teamcenter/NX configuration changes
- Participate in performing & testing Teamcenter/NX patching, versioning, and upgrades
- Provide ad-hoc Teamcenter/NX user training
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years’ experience administering NX and Teamcenter
- Experience working in design or manufacturing
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience in PLM concepts and functionalities, familiarization with design best practices, industry standards, drawing/drafting standards, understanding of PMI/GD&T
- Programming skills, Python, C++, KF, Visual Basic, NX Open are a plus
- Understanding of Active Workspace Client (AWC) integration and visualization a plus
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, passionate about technology and finding ways to increase efficiency and have an untiring focus on excellent results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of design principles
- NX Administration / Configuration experience
- Experience with NX Part Families
- Experience in Production environment support for Teamcenter 4-Tier architecture, installation/visualization NX integration (Rich Client and AWC –User Interface (UI) with NX
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends to support critical mission milestones
Pay Ranges:
- $121,000 - $164,000
