Support development and maintenance of security policies, compliance documentation, and continuous monitoring across NIST, CMMC, and export-control regimes. Conduct assessments, gap analysis, remediations, and assist security engineering and audits. Recommend security tools, provide training, and support ATO/authorization efforts for mission environments.

The Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist at Vast will manage all aspects of demand planning, sourcing, and procurement for satellite components, ensuring readiness for multi-satellite builds while maintaining vendor relationships and compliance with regulations.

Design and layout custom high-speed, multi-layer PCBs using Altium, collaborating with engineers and vendors to meet DFM and signal integrity requirements. Produce fabrication/assembly drawings, maintain Altium Vault and libraries, develop PCB processes and best practices, train teammates, and write scripts to automate workflows. Support mission milestones, including occasional evening/weekend work.

Lead and mentor a soft-goods fabrication team to develop and scale manufacturing processes for aerospace-grade fabrics. Oversee production scheduling, quality control, safety, repairs, and collaboration with engineering to improve manufacturability, meet program milestones, and control costs.

Lead full-cycle technical recruiting for multiple engineering disciplines: partner with hiring managers, source passive candidates, manage pipelines and ATS, run interview debriefs, report recruiting metrics, improve hiring velocity, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience while representing Vast's mission.

Coordinate and monitor component flow through manufacturing stages, ensure timely deliveries, liaise with procurement/engineering/quality, manage outside processing and logistics, maintain system data and reports, escalate shortages and schedule issues, and support production planning to meet milestones.

The Teamcenter Application Engineer will develop, deploy, and maintain PLM/CAD systems, manage customizations, and support engineering workflows for space station projects.

Support development of human-rated space station systems by performing system safety analyses (FHA, crew survivability, human error), documenting hazards and controls, assessing failure tolerance and compliance, participating in design reviews, and recommending design improvements to minimize risk to people and property.

Oversee qualification and test completeness, drive engineering standards and processes, capture lessons learned, and partner cross-functionally to ensure design maturity, configuration control, and safe, resilient hardware development.

Design, implement, and support fixtures and tooling for Haven-1 assembly, lifting, and handling. Collaborate with integration, manufacturing, and vehicle engineering to define tooling specs, perform mechanical/FEA analysis, develop operation and maintenance plans, manage project schedules and vendors, iterate tooling improvements, and resolve production issues with technicians and stakeholders.
