About the role

Team Manager planning is responsible for securing that Plant meets agreed End- to-end performance, where factory capacity, order backlog and sourcing are coordinated to meet customer expectations. This role covers responsibility for Factory planners, Master Data specialists and Shipping Expertise.

Responsibilities for this role entails:

  • Responsible for meeting Factory productivity goal while meeting Deliver On Time target
  • Responsible for production planning of the local factory, when team build (cut / add/ modify) a weekly bucketed product supply plan.
  • Facilitate the local S&OP processes
  • Set and follow up targets for direct employees  linked to the factory performance.
  • Creates planning based on market leadtimes in line with Master planning input
  • Responsible for managing basic data in the local MRP and PLM systems
  • Ensures Factory supply scopes are fully up to date and synced with Customer Configurators
  • Responsible for timely New Product Launches and any product (items) basic data is up to date
  • Implement policies, standards, values and culture.
  • Secure Standardized work & Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Secure the result of continuous improvement activities in the Team and cross- functionally, including Lean Six Sigma and 5S.
  • Support Problem Solving & Improvement activities

What you know

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent degree and/or a minimum of five years’ experience in supply chain management where  industrial experience is a plus
  • Master of Engineering or supply chain (preferred) or equivalent experience..
  • 3 years of experience as minimum from production/manufacturing company in the supply chain area.
  • Experience from improvement tools, e g 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
  • Project work experience / financial competence.
  • Communication skills / negotiations skills.
