Please feel free to peruse our website www.alfalaval.com.The position / About the Job:In this job the Team Manager Store would be responsible for:Key Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Responsible for: the stock, incoming material from supplier, coordination with Receipt QC for inspection, locating material at the correct place, picking of material within short time.
  • Responsible for proper transaction of material.
  • Count the material and update to maintain a high accuracy level of stock.
  • High light: the stock level when it goes up, material comes early than required, etc.
  • Set and follow up targets for the group and monitor the performance.
  • Make GRR as soon as the material received to support SDOT, which is one of the factories KPIs.
  • Secure ALPS / Lean Six Sigma and other Operations initiative in the within the group – Run the ALPS Board as per the standard, 5S, kaizen, Projects & FTMs.
  • Secure Standardized work via SOP’s and development of these.
  • Drive Problem Solving & Improvement activities in the stores.
  • Responsible for quick disposal of supplier rejection and scrap material from stores.
  • Responsible for high level of safety precautions in the stores/yard.
  • Preparation of e-way bill.
  • Dispatch of material against MSJ.
  • Stock verification of A & B class items on regular basis.
  • Maintain FIFO to shelf-life items.
Expectations & Responsibilities:
  • Align overall targets and KPI’s to department goals and KPI’s. E.g., – ALPS, 5S, Kaizen, accuracy of stock, negative stock, Rejection volume to zero.
  • Maintain and develop ESI for own team.
  • Secure feasible and standard communication plan within team.
  • Support with development of different tools to increase productivity, order handling, cost calculation, design etc.
  • Analyze process deviations and facilitate root cause analysis and solutions via sourcing, order handling, planning and stores- team supported by support functions.
  • Ensure a good level of cooperation between buyers, TM's and suppliers.
  • Assures stocking program is implemented as agreed.
  • Analyze inventory values and system set up in reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Analyze ALPS sourcing, delivery and stores SB problems on weekly basis and make action plans to overcome issues –Maintenance of relevant basic data parameters.
  • Drive / facilitate project work within the department.
  • Secure frozen production schedule minimum next 6 days.
  • Launch, Schedule, Close Shop Work Orders.
  • Constant awareness about future shortages minimum N5W.
  • Securing highest level of safety in Stores and in the yard.
  • Creating total overview of the department load.
