Job Description:

Crowe has expanded its service offerings and we are hiring for our Financial Services Tax team as a result. We are adding talented team members to our 70+ department with operational partnership experience as we continue to expand our service offerings and deliver high quality service to our clients. What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day tax engagements for a portfolio of capital markets clients, with a focus on investment funds, private equity, private credit, broker-dealers, and other asset management.
  • Oversee preparation and review of complex partnership returns, tax allocations, and compliance processes.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and support delivery of consulting projects involving financial instruments and transactions.
  • Serve as a main point of contact for client communications, ensuring expectations are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Supervise, coach, and review work of Senior Associates and Associates, contributing to their technical development.
  • Assist in practice development through process improvements, operational efficiencies, and support of business development initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting; Master’s or advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA required.
  • 5–7 years of tax experience, ideally with capital markets clients or investment vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of partnership taxation, allocations, and financial product taxation.
  • Experience managing engagement teams and workflows.
  • Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and staff.
  • Interest in contributing to innovation, quality initiatives, and expanding client service capabilities.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,500.00 - $201,000.00 per year.
