Tax Operations Business Analyst – Associate/Associate Vice President

About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire an Associate/Assistant Vice President to join the Client Success Tax Services team. This position will support iCapital’s global Tax team with project management, operational support and client service. This is a newly created role to support the expansion of iCapital in the global marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage global Tax-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and efficiently.
• Draft business requirements, project plans, use and test cases and other work artifacts.
  • Manage the Tax client service mailboxes, inquiry management system and global client inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution and transparent communication.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the different work streams within the Tax department.
  • Collaborate with internal Finance, Legal, IT teams and trusted external auditors, consultants, tax firms and law firm partners to execute key deliverables.
  • Coordinate global ad-hoc projects and tasks performed by the offshore team.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project status, risk management and financial impact on senior management as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in client service, operations, tax, accounting, or project management roles, preferably within the financial/technology sector, and/or consulting environment
• Proficiency with MS suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with project management tools; comfortable learning new systems and technology
• Proven ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to learn new topics and work in an evolving business environment
• Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $140,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
