We’re looking for a Talent Sourcer to join our in‑house Talent Acquisition team, focused exclusively on outbound sourcing and market research.
This role is ideal for someone who loves finding hard‑to‑reach talent, enjoys thinking creatively about where and how to search, and wants to partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers rather than own full‑cycle recruitment.
You will support specialist technology and technology sales hiring predominantly across EMEA and the US, helping us build strong, diverse pipelines in competitive global markets.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Proactively source passive candidates for specialist technology roles (e.g. Software Engineering, Security, Cloud, Platform, Identity) and technology sales roles (e.g. Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Pre‑Sales, Customer Success).
- Deliver outbound sourcing predominantly across EMEA and US markets (and Globally as needed), working effectively across time zones.
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter at an advanced level, including complex Boolean logic, talent pooling, and pipeline management.
- Go beyond LinkedIn by identifying and engaging talent via alternative channels such as online communities, professional networks, GitHub/Stack Overflow, events, alumni networks, and niche platforms.
- Conduct talent mapping and market research, providing insights on skill availability, competitor hiring, and market trends.
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to translate role requirements into effective sourcing strategies.
- Craft thoughtful, personalised outreach that resonates with technical and commercial audiences.
- Conduct screening conversations with candidates to validate interest, suitability, experience, location, and alignment with role requirements.
- Prepare and present high‑quality candidate shortlists with clear notes, context, and recommendations for the recruiter/hiring manager.
- Maintain accurate pipelines and documentation, ensuring all outreach, responses, and screening outcomes are up to date.
- Track sourcing activity, pipelines, and outcomes, continuously improving approach based on what works.
Required Skills:
- Experience in a direct sourcing / headhunting role (in‑house, RPO, or agency delivery focused).
- Strong hands‑on expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, including Boolean search and advanced filtering.
- Experience sourcing technology roles, with exposure to software engineering and/or security profiles.
- Experience sourcing technology sales / go‑to‑market roles.
- Understanding of, or experience supporting, global or multi‑region hiring (EMEA and/or US).
- A curious, creative mindset — you enjoy experimenting with new sourcing channels and approaches.
- Confident written communication skills and the ability to engage passive candidates effectively.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to cybersecurity or identity/security technology hiring.
- Experience with talent mapping, market intelligence, or employer branding collaboration.
- Familiarity with additional sourcing tools or platforms beyond LinkedIn.
