This Director of Talent Management role will focus on developing and implementing initiatives to facilitate high performance enablement and employee career growth across the organization. This role will partner with business leaders, the Talent Management team, and the People & Culture organization to enable high employee performance and growth by creating strategies to enable meaningful career conversations and growth planning, creating pathways for employee across different roles and functions, leveraging competency mapping, and integrating talent mobility initiatives into overall organizational goals.  The role is critical to ensuring the company has the right talent in the right positions to meet future business needs. 


Responsibilities

Career Growth Strategy:  

  • Partner with business leaders, the Talent Management team, and People & Culture to design and launch a company-wide career growth and mobility strategy, including resources and tools to help employees understand their next steps for career growth 
  • Co-design career success profiles to ensure job expectations and competencies are transparent across functions and levels.  
  • Create pathways for internal movement across roles and functions using competency mapping and skills assessments. 
  • Expand mentorship and coaching programs to support career progression and knowledge transfer.  

Performance Enablement:  

  • Facilitate high performance across the company by evolving the Veeam Conversations program. 
  • Foster a culture of open communication and career conversations with managers.  
  • Integrate career growth goals into performance enablement program.  
  • Provide feedback and coaching to employees and ensure there are documented growth plans across the company.  

Career Mobility:  

  • Create a career hub to match employee skills and interests with open positions.  
  • Implement tools to track employee career aspirations and development progress.  
  • Educate employees about career development opportunities and internal mobility pathways.  
  • Promote success stories of internal career moves to inspire others.  

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Global, corporate experience in talent management, preferably in designing career architecture and employee growth programs 
  • Strong understanding of talent management principles, including career development, succession planning, and performance management. 
  • Expertise in learning and development methodologies. 
  • Proven ability to analyse data and identify trends to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Experience with HR technology and talent management systems
