The Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing Altium’s talent strategy by leading the full-cycle talent acquisition process for roles across the organization and working closely with hiring managers to ensure quality hires, process efficiency and provide a positive talent acquisition experience. You will partner with executive leadership and the operations teams to develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies for all Operations areas (e.g. Engineering, Commercialization, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Project Management etc.).
Essential Functions- Roles/Responsibilities
- Leverage Workday ATS and other tools to manage full recruiting life cycle
- Build collaborative relationships with hiring managers to facilitate clear communication and understanding of the job requirements necessary to find top talent.
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including sourcing/screening candidates, conducting and coordinating the interview process, providing feedback to candidates, facilitating the decision-making process with hiring teams, extending employment offers, and the pre-employment process.
- Act as Talent Consultant and SME to educate hiring managers on best practices and implementing effective sourcing strategies in the US and Canadian markets
- Efficiently identify potential candidates by extrapolating pertinent information from both resumes and phone screenings.
- Utilize creativity and persistence when trying to find the best candidate for specific or unique positions.
- Think outside of the box when conducting resume searches or other sourcing techniques to find the unique skill sets some positions require
- Attend virtual and in-person job fairs and other relevant events as required for specific roles
- Keep the full life cycle recruiting process on track through effective scheduling and regular communication with hiring managers
- Schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers and other key stakeholders
- Successfully manage hiring managers priorities and expectations
- Provide guidance and feedback to hiring managers related to recruiting best practices.
- Serve as a key HR member on cross functional projects/initiatives with the HR group and within the broader Altium network
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full life cycle corporate recruiting experience
- Ability to source candidates for a diverse range of positions
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- High levels of creativity
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking System, Networking Tools, and other Sourcing Solutions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience with Workday ATS
- Corporate recruiting background preferred
- Experience recruiting for a wide variety of roles within the manufacturing industry, i.e. engineering, operations, quality, etc., preferred
