Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, engage, and hire top talent across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, and ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive recruiting professional with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple open positions in a fast-paced environment.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions from requisition through offer acceptance.
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, position requirements, and candidate qualifications.
Assist with creating and updating job descriptions as needed.
Post job openings on the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS), job boards, social media platforms, and other recruitment channels.
Source and identify qualified candidates using various recruiting methods, including online databases, networking, referrals, and social media.
Review applications, conduct phone screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, and experience to identify the best candidates for each position.
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
Coordinate background checks and other pre-employment screening requirements.
Prepare employment offers, answer candidate questions, and collect required new hire
documentation.
Assist with onboarding activities to help ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation within the Applicant Tracking System.
Track recruiting activity and provide hiring updates and reports as requested.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Stay current on recruiting best practices, employment trends, and applicable federal and state employment laws.
Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive candidate and employee information.
Maintain a quiet, professional home office environment suitable for conducting confidential interviews and business conversations.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in healthcare or a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with candidates from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple requisitions and deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hiring managers and team members.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and virtual communication platforms.
Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and hiring best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service mindset.
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment in all recruiting activities
