Aroa Biosurgery Limited is a soft-tissue regeneration company that develops, manufactures, and distributes surgical products to improve healing in complex soft tissue reconstruction procedures. The Opportunity:
This isn’t a transactional agency grind. As our first US Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have true ownership over how we attract, evaluate, and hire commercial talent across the country. Based in San Diego and working closely with our Director of People & Culture and US leadership, you will design the US candidate experience, build direct talent pipelines, and shape our employer brand.
What You’ll Do
- Build US Sales Pipelines: Proactively map networks, engage passive candidates, and convert top commercial/sales talent into active pipelines.
- Elevate Selection Standards: Partner with hiring managers to refine selection frameworks, reduce hiring bias, and deliver a high-touch candidate experience.
- Drive Employer Branding: Collaborate with Marketing & Comms to create compelling LinkedIn content and elevate AROA's profile in the US MedTech market.
- Recruitment Operations & Analytics: Utilize BambooHR and recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, source quality, candidate insights) to continuously optimize our process.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in agency or in-house recruitment (experience in Medical Device, Life Sciences, or Tech sales recruitment is highly preferred).
- Direct Sourcing Mastery: Proven track record using LinkedIn Recruiter and direct-sourcing techniques to engage passive candidates.
- Autonomy & Drive: Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating independently as part of a global team.
- Communication & Influence: Outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to coach hiring managers and negotiate offers.
- Adaptable, proactive mindset with a strong sense of humour and collaborative spirit.
