As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will be an essential partner to a high-performing Talent Acquisition team supporting more than 86 locations across 12 states. This role is based in Houston, TX.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays an integral role on a dynamic recruiting team focused on attracting quality candidates and strengthening NorthStar’s employer brand. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor, this position supports a broad range of recruiting functions while also assisting with recruitment marketing and social media initiatives. In this role, you will build strong working relationships with the recruiting team, candidates, and hiring managers while helping create and distribute engaging content across NorthStar’s social media channels.
Responsibilities
- Respond to internal and external recruiting-related inquiries and requests
- Coordinate all job postings, both to our careers page as well as external job boards, ensuring consistency and uniformity across all sites
- Source highly qualified candidates for open roles at locations nationwide
- Assist hiring managers with applicant tracking system usage
- Redirect recruiting related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate team member
- Manage the Recruiting mailboxes, including voice, email, and physical mail
- Collecting and managing expense reports for the team
- Support recruitment marketing and employer-brand content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Youtube
- Adapt and distribute social media content for individual locations, audiences, hiring needs, and priority markets while maintaining brand consistency
- Support in creating and update social media graphics, captions, recruiting content, and other digital assets as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager
Compensation of $22-$27/hr.

Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Valid driver’s license
- 1-2 years of recruitment experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of online sourcing and recruitment methods including internet, ATS, and candidate engagement tools
- 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, social media, marketing, communications, or a related field; relevant internship experience may be considered
- Experience with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
- Experience creating and editing social media content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and/or similar graphic design and video editing tools.
- Strong understanding of computer software including MS Office
- Candidates selected for a first-round interview will be asked to provide a portfolio or relevant design and social media work samples, as this role includes content creation and recruitment marketing responsibilities.
