The Role

Systems Test Engineer – Gardena Robotics R&D  

We're a pioneering unit within Husqvarna, dedicated to designing and maintaining cutting-edge robotic mowers for the GARDENA Division. Formerly a joint effort, we're now an independent entity focused solely on advancing mower tech. Located in Huskvarna, we're strategically close to other robotics teams within Husqvarna's Forest and Garden division, fostering collaboration.  

Our Unit consists of the following departments: Project & Portfolio Management, Systems & Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering. Our multidisciplinary setup ensures seamless innovation, combining skills in project management, software, and mechatronics for top-notch mower development. 

Job description: 
We are on the lookout for a skilled System Test Engineer who not only verifies system requirements but also serves as the eyes and ears for our groundbreaking robotic lawnmowers.  

Your primary focus will be ensuring seamless verification of system requirements, with a strong emphasis on software verification and functional behavior. You will also work with New Product Development projects and pre-studies, where your expertise will be a catalyst for exciting advancements in robotics. And as a key figure in System Testing, you will not just plan and lead verification activities but also contribute to the growth of our dynamic department. 

Qualifications: 

  • Hands-On Testing Expertise: Previous firsthand experience in Systems Verification and Testing is your forte. You will be responsible for system functionality and top-notch performance. 

  • Outdoor Tech Enthusiast: Experience of working with outdoor products with integration of electronics, sensors and motors.  

  • Communication: Fluent in the language of English, both written and verbal, you will be the storyteller of product behavior, bridging the gap between technicalities and understanding.

Location: On site at our Office in Huskvarna.
