We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Group Insurance Manager to steer and support our global insurance operations - including risk analysis, placements, claims, and management of our US-based captive.

In this role, you will report to our VP Group Risk Management and be part of a team responsible for enterprise risk management, corporate security and insurance. The function is well integrated with business operations and considered a trusted partner.

About the role:

As our Group Insurance Manager, you will manage our global insurance program, including RMIS data such as renewals, premium budgeting, and allocations. You will ensure effective handling of insurance claims, including but not limited to property, casualty, and marine cargo, while supporting leasing operations with customized insurance solutions. You will also manage US-specific insurance programs, including workers’ compensation, auto insurance, and TPA coordination.

Further key-responsibilities:

  • Provide insurance input on commercial contracts, advise stakeholders, and manage certificate of insurance distribution.
  • Handle administrative duties such as insurance invoice management.
  • Impact assessments to guide insurance strategy and decision-making.
  • Monitor insurance market trends and help evolve our insurance strategy in line with business needs.
  • Expect to travel internationally occasionally, primarily within Sweden and to the US.

About you:

You bring several years of insurance experience and are ready to take the next step in your career. You are confident working in complex, multinational environments and have experience managing renewals and collaborating with brokers.

Your skills and background:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant insurance field.
  • You’re a confident communicator and collaborator with strong stakeholder management, both externally and internally, comfortable advising both senior leaders and operational teams.
  • You have a sharp eye for details and enjoy solving problems in a structured yet creative way. A global mindset and cultural sensitivity are key in this role.
  • Strong digital competence and ability to leverage technology effectively, such as Microsoft Office and insurance data management. Experience in Riskonnect is considered a plus
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Legal or a related field

Location:

This position will be placed in either Huskvarna, Stockholm or Jonsered (Gothenburg), Sweden. We offer a hybrid work set up where you´ll have the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely, promoting work-life balance for all team members. We meet in the office at least 2-3 times a week (50%).
