As a Linux Systems Operations and Administrator, you will be at the forefront of our Networking SW group, ensuring flawless system performance and reliability. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work with world-class technology and collaborate with ambitious engineers across global sites. What you'll be doing:
  • Provision, configure, and maintain brand new data-center computing systems for Linux networking feature development and testing, including servers, network switches, virtualization platforms, and remote-management interfaces.
  • Diagnose and resolve system-level issues spanning hardware, firmware, power-on and boot processes, operating systems, software compatibility, network communications, and containers.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, availability, and performance; coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution to minimize downtime.
  • Partner with engineering, IT, facilities, and network teams; maintain runbooks, asset records, rack layouts, cabling documentation, and operational processes.
What we need to see:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the technology industry, with practical familiarity with data-center networking standards and protocols.
  • Solid Linux host administration capabilities, practical experience, and familiarity with server hardware, storage, network virtualization, and remote-management tools.
  • Ability to automate and troubleshoot Linux administrative and operational tasks using Python and Bash scripting, along with generative AI tools.
  • Solid understanding of data-center infrastructure, including racks, structured cabling, network switches, and coordinating hardware from acquisition through deployment.
  • Strong data-center networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and network troubleshooting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Experience managing Linux KVM/QEMU virtualization, multi-user host lab environments, NFS storage systems, Ansible (or similar) automation, and OS or cluster provisioning systems.
  • Experience supporting fast-growing engineering labs or large-scale data-center environments.
  • Experience in setting up server labs, planning capacity, and preparing sites for operation.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, ticketing, inventory-management, and network-management tools.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 112,000 USD - 178,250 USD for Level 3, and 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
