Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Systems Engineer - Level 3 or 4 based out of Aurora, CO.
Position Overview:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.

This requisition may be filled as either a level 3 or level 4.
Basic Qualifications for a Systems Engineer Level 3:
- Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; 1 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Experience with requirements development, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment-level test procedure
- Experience working on Agile programs and methodology
- Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Experience with Cameo and DOORS
- Strong written and oral communications skills

- Experience working on Agile programs and methodology
- Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Experience with Cameo and DOORS
- Strong written and oral communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with full engineering life cycle and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience with Cameo, STK, Python, MATLAB, Automated Testing
Skills Required
