About the Opportunity
Summary & Responsibilities:
The Northeastern University Office of Global Services (OGS) is seeking a Systems Analyst to be embedded within the Enrollment Management Strategic Enrollment Initiatives (SEI) team to handle maintenance and management of the Sunapsis platform and all other OGS IT assets. Key responsibilities include organization, maintenance, and oversight of governmental and University required information pertinent to the nonimmigrant visa/immigration status of international students and scholars. You’ll play an integral role in the configuration, support, and success of the critical system enabling international students at Northeastern.
This position works remotely, and there are certain expectations of remote employees. Full engagement is required which will include quarterly visits to campus, visible and active participation in remote meetings, and working with colleagues who are primarily in the Eastern time zone. As with all technical jobs, occasional nights and weekends may be required for planned upgrades, unplanned outages, etc.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related STEM field of study

A minimum of one (1) year professional level IT experience which includes demonstrated experience in developing and/or modifying new and existing applications, including requirement analysis, design, code, test, debug, implementation and maintenance.

Demonstrated experience related to databases, programming and content management frameworks.

Demonstrated database management and querying experience with MS SQL and open-source databases.

Demonstrated knowledge of the desktop and client environment.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience supporting enterprise systems like Sunapsis.

Working knowledge of Banner, ServiceNow CSM or other equivalent systems.

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident on order to serve as DSO/ARO
