Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator is responsible for configuring and integrating various cloud-based enterprise systems. This position works closely within the team and with internal stakeholders to drive efficiency, automation, security, and simplicity for the organization. The Systems Administrator supports and improves corporate technology infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
- Integrations and Automation:
- Configure profiles, scripts, and policies for macOS/Windows, laptops, virtual workstations, applications, VoIP phones, printers, scanners, and conferencing A/V equipment
- Maintain and monitor automations and integrations to drive improvement and maximize uptime
- IT/Security and Policy Compliance Implementation:
- Adhere to, monitor, and implement ITGC policies and procedures
- Implement and maintain endpoint security
- System/Network Configuration:
- Set up and maintain the network while configuring TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP etc.
- Ensures security concepts, firewalls (hardware/software), antivirus and malware prevention/removal are implemented consistently across all systems
- Troubleshoot issues:
- Solve issues that may require additional research or interaction directly with vendors
- Document solutions for both common and uncommon issues to ensure easy repeatability
- Escalates complex issues as required
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related technical field or equivalent experience
- 3+ Years working in an IT or Systems Administration
- Proven ability to solve problems with and administer GSuite, Azure/Office365, TCP/IP networks, SSO integrations using Okta, and a number of SaaS systems
- Familiar with GSuite administration as well as using GAM
- Experience with establishing infrastructure environments by designing system configurations; directing system installations; defining, documenting, and implementing system standards
- Demonstrated ability to maximize systems performance by monitoring performance; solved system problems and outages; scheduled upgrades; collaborated with the team on optimization
- Experience with Help Desk and Project Tracking Systems to assign, delegate, and/or resolve tasks and projects
Additional experience preferred but not required:
- Maintained and set up virtualized and physical servers
- Previous experience building automations using Tray.io
- Previous experience evaluating new hardware for purchase
- Solid experience with a cloud-based virtualization platform
- Proficient in different scripting and automation methods
- Experience with Windows and Linux servers
- Comfortable in a primarily Apple environment
- Familiar with or are certified on JAMF, Meraki, tray.io (APIs), and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
