Leidos is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Suitland, MD, supporting Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) analysis at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). In this role, you will provide specialized cybersecurity and IT support for critical intelligence systems used in parametric modeling, engineering analysis, and foreign material exploitation.
You will support a highly specialized technical environment that includes high end workstations, advanced graphics, laboratory equipment, data loading, and cloud administration. Your expertise will help maintain secure, reliable systems while supporting security accreditation requirements and the technology needs of the mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within prescribed timelines.
Track change requests and trouble tickets in ServiceNow or Remedy AR to ensure they are properly documented and managed.
Maintain configuration management and lifecycle documentation for Mission IT assets.
Evaluate system needs and provide recommendations for software updates and hardware replacements.
Support desktop system updates, accreditation compliance, and security authorizations.
Assist with risk management frameworks and compliance with ODNI, DIA, DoD, DISA, Navy, NIA, and ONI policies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience, or a master’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience. Additional training, certifications, or work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph.
Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification, such as Security+ CE, or the ability to obtain the certification within 30 days of offer acceptance.
Windows System Administration experience.
Expert level technical experience and knowledge of server environment installation, configuration, and security.
Extensive knowledge of Windows hardware, software, and network components.
Experience with C&A, DIACAP, RMF, ICD 503, and/or the NIST Framework.
Expertise in evaluating, installing, and maintaining IT infrastructure.
Experience coordinating with technology teams to support services and applications.
Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Administration.
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of MacOS administration experience.
Current Microsoft Azure certification(s).
Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
