Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced system engineer to join our team! Our SE are the locomotive of the development process, they have rare combination of deep technical understanding, problem solving capabilities and knowing customer needs
What you’ll be doing?
Lead technical development of a complex metrology system using a cross-disciplinary team of engineers.
Own the entire system error budgets against the required specs and provide a technical roadmap for future advanced technology based on the system error budget.
Partition large systems into subsystems, modules, and components, each clearly defined and straightforward to implement.
Perform detailed and efficient root cause analysis to problems arise during development and field-escalations
Drive validation and verification activities for the overall product, including system level testing.
Work with program managers to create and manage project schedules. Interfaces closely with service, manufacturing, engineering and marketing team to define and optimize system performance and resolve performance issues.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the system will meet the system requirements
- Understanding deeply the technical aspects of the system (HW/Algo/SW) and our customers use-cases to provide robust technical capabilities to our customers requirements
- Hands-on troubleshooting and maintaining of engineering prototype systems in division headquarters
- Review and approve system requirements and design documents
- Contribute to and work the product marketing and the division’s strategic plans to clarify the market need in terms of system requirements
- Collect and analyze large amount of data from the system (in hose and from customers) to gain deep insights regard the system behavior
- Respond to field escalations where field service engineers have failed to resolve complex system performance problems, by providing written plans of action by e-mail, phone or on-site hands-on assistance at customer sites worldwide
- Be able to quickly get up to speed to design and execute multi-disciplinary experiments, write and peer review detailed test plans and summary reports for system testing
- Hands-on troubleshooting and maintaining of engineering prototype systems in division headquarters

Minimum Qualifications
- Endless curiosity and urge to learn new things
- BSc/MSc in Physics / Electrical Eng./Mechanical Eng with 5+ years of multidisciplinary systems experience, OR PhD graduate in relevant fields (great advantage)
- Solid knowledge of data analysis and signal/image processing using Python or Matlab
- Complex system comprehension
- Excellent collaboration capabilities, with different disciplines and ability to work independently
- Leadership skills Strong English oral and written communication skills, presenting skills
