About the Role

As a System Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering modern datacenter services and solutions, able to coordinate turnkey and largescale projects including internal technical resource and external partners to complete project statement of work and milestone within budget and timeline with customer's satisfaction.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop hands-on competencies for professional service delivery, demonstrate products and provide technical support to clients & business partners. Our team is seeking a promising candidate to join them.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist Solution & Service Managers in providing solution support, delivering deep dive product demonstrations to clients and business partners.
  • Solution planning and design.
  • Deliver datacenter, hybrid solutions and services.
  • Deliver training to partners on products solution.
  • Coordinate and manage technical validation events (POC) and assets.
  • Resolve project issues, review and control project activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Travel to Macau may be required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Knowledge in general system infrastructure technologies including Storage Area Network, backup and recovery, virtualization, cloud computing, Linux, and DevOps.
  • Experience in Implement, configure, and administrate servers, automation, infrastructure provisioning, middleware, database or DevOps is an advantage.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems independently.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and sensitive to clients’ needs and concerns.
  • Able to work in a multi-task environment and able to execute instructions as per request.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Certified Linux Professional, CCNA or CCNP is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline
  • 3 years’ in-depth experience in Linux/Unix server, virtualization, backup and recovery implementation and support
  • Excellent written and verbal communications in English and Cantonese
  • Analytical skills to effectively evaluate customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions in a highly competitive market.
  • Work independently
  • A candidate with less experience will be considered.
