- Collaborate with software architects, product owners, system leads, firmware engineers, hardware engineers, UX, and V&V teams to align software requirements, design decisions, implementation scope, and validation plans.
- Create and maintain software-related engineering documentation such as software system definitions, SRS inputs, architecture descriptions, interface definitions, traceability matrices, risk registers, and design review materials.
- Contribute to software and system-level risk management activities, including SFMEA, DFMEA, cybersecurity threat assessments, technical trade-off analysis, defect triage, and mitigation planning.
- Partner with project management and functional leads to estimate software scope, dependencies, technical risks, resource needs, and project timeline impacts versus feature delivery commitments.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment during design reviews, integration milestones, release planning, and issue-resolution workshops to ensure software decisions remain consistent with the overall product architecture.
