About the role

OSTTRA is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Atlassian Specialist to spearhead the optimization and evolution of our environment, utilizing Atlassian Technologies (Jira, Confluence, etc). This role demands a unique blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive cross-organizational success. You will be a key player in ensuring our Atlassian technology stack operates seamlessly and effectively supports OSTTRA as an organization. This role has a strong emphasis on technical skills and hands-on execution within the Atlassian environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Atlassian products, including Jira, JSM, Confluence, and JSM Assets

• Manage user accounts and permissions

• Troubleshoot and resolve Atlassian product issues

• Migrate Atlassian products from data center to cloud

• Automate tasks using Atlassian products

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues to identify and resolve issues

• Provide training and support to users on Atlassian products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• 4-8 years of experience working with Atlassian's suite

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to break down complex issues and requirements into actionable items

• Experience working with both technical and non-technical colleagues

• In-depth experience with automations in Atlassian products

• Experience with data center and cloud instances of Atlassian products

• Knowledge of cloud migrations for Atlassian products

Additional Information:

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Bonus points

• Atlassian certifications (e.g., Atlassian Cloud Organization Admin, Jira Administration for Cloud, Managing Jira Service Projects for Cloud)

• Experience in the financial services industry

• Experience with Azure/Entra ID and Active Directory as identity providers

• Experience with implementations and management of application links and tunnels
