SYSTEM ANALYST

Location: Singapore
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders, translating them into technical specifications and functional designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for new system enhancements and projects.
- Design and propose system solutions, including data models, process flows, and integration points, aligning with architectural standards and security policies.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Provide support to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testings to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and training materials.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders such as project managers, developers, testers, and other IT professionals to ensure project success.
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 6 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
- Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating system documentation, including use cases, flowcharts, and data models.
- Experience with various system analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with banking products, services, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
- Experience with SQL and database concepts is a plus.
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is an advantage.
