System Administration:
Operating Systems:
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat/Ubuntu) administration.
Virtualization:
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) and virtual machine provisioning.
Backup & Storage:
- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault) and SAN/NAS storage systems.
Database:
- Basic MSSQL administration (backups, restores, user management).
Automation:
- Proficiency in Ansible playbooks and scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
Patching & Security:
- OS and application patching across Linux and Windows environments.
Networking (Basic):
- Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences / IT / Engineering or a Diploma in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years+ of experience in a similar environment

- Data center experience: rack layout design, cabling standards, hardware installation
- Power management experience: UPS systems, PDUs, generators, power load calculations
- Cooling/environmental management: CRAC units, HVAC, airflow optimization
- Proficiency with DCIM tools (e.g., Schneider EcoStruxure, Sunbird, Nlyte)
- Windows Server administration
- Linux administration (Red Hat/Ubuntu)
