We are looking for a Software Design Engineer, who will participate in the development of software for Valeo production sites with focus on Visual inspection and IOT.
YOUR CHALLENGES:
- Review customer and internal requirements and translate them into software design
- Develop robust software architecture and components following Valeo processes and standards
- Support deployment and troubleshooting on sites
- Perform design analyses, including worst-case and statistical evaluations
- Contribute to technical reviews and collaborate with suppliers
- Follow standardization rules and design guidelines
- Report task progress and escalate risks proactively

- University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python and C(C++) is an advantage
- Experience working with Linux and Docker
- Hands-on experience with version control and change management tools
- Experience with requirements engineering and design tools
- Knowledge of industrial solution for image acquisitions is an advantage
- High level of innovation, curiosity, and problem-solving mindset
- Category B driver’s license
- Willingness to travel when required
