Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Algo Analyst to join our Algo team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, trading systems, and passion for delivering exceptional support to our trader and clients globally. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of trading applications, resolving incidents, and working closely with traders, quants, developers, and infrastructure teams in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Key Areas of Responsibilities
Provide expert support for Algo system, responding to user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving incidents in a timely manner.
Proactively monitor systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Perform root cause analysis for incidents, document findings, and work with development teams for long-term solutions.
Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.
Assist developer to perform supportive task for the system.
Participate in QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet user requirements before deployment.
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation including runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
Participate in onsite/on-call rotations; some early morning, evening, weekend or public holiday work may be required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
8 - 10 years of experience in trading system support, with a strong preference for expertise in algorithmic trading.
Strong understanding of Equity trading in Asian market.
Expertise in relational database such as Oracle, with advanced proficiency in SQL development, including complex query optimization.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
Working knowledge of programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash)
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., ITRS, Grafana) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
Familiarity with FIX protocol, Bloomberg terminal is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, Chinese speaker will be a plus
