The Supply Planning Manager plays a visible ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain and seamless flow of goods. Responsible for developing and executing strategic supply plans and managing inventory levels to align with production needs the Supply Planning Manager excels in enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Build and maintain supply planning schedules and tactical supply plans that connect demand forecasts, production requirements, and inventory targets
Partners sites to optimize production forecasts, using data to shape clear supply recommendations
Monitor DC in-stock performance, inventory health, demand plan updates, capacity and supply chain trends to spot risks and opportunities early
Manage finished goods inventory planning and deployment requirements, while balancing demand against capacity constraints, and production schedules to support reliable plan execution
Partner with cross functional teams to review retail instock, demand plan, distribution and site performance, improve ways of working and resolve issues
Use digital supply planning and execution tools, analytics, and S&OP insights to guide decisions across the value chain
The Supply Planning Manager within the APAC Supply Planning team is responsible across our APAC Markets, this role will see you own a particular market whilst leading the process migration throughout our ongoing technology transformation, whilst driving succession opportunities for yourself and the team.
Do you have what it takes?
Prior working experience in Supply Planning roles within the FMCG or similar fast-paced industries
Successful record delivering cost optimizations, supplier collaboration, and sustainable value creation
Critical thinking skills, with the ability to anticipate market trends and align strategies with long-term business objectives, leveraging analytical insights and data to drive innovation and support decision making processes
Experience supporting process change or technology transformation across regional and global partners. Experience with S/4HANA and Kinaxis Maestro is advantageous
Exemplary interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively tailor your message for the audience, including executives and senior stakeholders
Strong negotiation skills
