About the Role:
Our goal is to improve and enhance the Resident Supply Chain network to ultimately drive the best customer experience in a reliable and cost-efficient manner. The Supply Planner shares responsibility for procurement, production, and inventory management. This role will support the day to day process for developing and executing the inventory strategy, product lifecycle management plan, supply network optimization, and purchase order management. The candidate is expected to have exceptional analytical, planning and written/verbal communication skills.
This is a remote position that may require travel. Holidays are peak times for our business and work may be required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist with managing relationships with partner factories, suppliers, and fulfillment centers to help execute inbound supply planning tasks.
- Collaborate closely with the Demand Planning team to ensure data accuracy and maintain visibility into demand signals, supporting accurate supply plans.
- Support communication across teams (operations, sales, finance) to track the status of products, shipment and arrival dates, and help identify any changes to the supply plan.
- Coordinate with sourcing and operations partners to ensure timely shipment of products and improve visibility of inbound inventory, with a focus on maintaining strong stock levels while managing costs.
- Work with partners to help optimize lead times, improve flexibility, and monitor raw material availability for more efficient supply chain operations.
- Assist with cross-site communications and support stakeholders in aligning timelines, priorities, and deliverables, contributing to meeting the company’s goals.
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), supporting the team in ensuring production partners meet shipment timelines to help maintain high in-stock rates.
- Utilize data to help generate insights that contribute to alignment with both internal teams and external partners, supporting the overall organizational objectives.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4-6 years of hands-on planning experience and data analysis with a focus on operations.
- 2+ Years of work or academic experience with SQL, advanced spreadsheet skills
- 2+ Years of work experience with planning tools (Toolio, Blue Ridge or similar)
- Familiarity with tools like Google Big Query, Looker or equivalent.
- Self starter who is comfortable working with data independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Particularly adept at working with both business and technical stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment
- Experience with supply chain processes and the associated data needed to support these businesses.
- Experience in a fast-paced, start-up e-commerce environment with the ability to quickly get up to speed, iterate and take on other projects
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
