Where you’ll be:
This position will be based in Anderson, South Carolina.
What you’ll do:

Schedule and coordinate supplier visits within the US.
-
Assess supplier capacity, identify bottlenecks, work collaboratively on action plans, continuous improvement activities, and follow ups.

Review planning parameters and logistics aspects with suppliers and ensure that inventory levels are defined and adhere properly, and resilience plan is put in place.

Ensure that processes are set up correctly and operating at optimal efficiency.

Monitor production output and quality to ensure that maximum production targets are met

Assess supplier capacity and review in PowerBi.
Qualifications required:
-
University degree (Industrial Engineering preferred or any other technical degree).

Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Purchasing experience is a plus.
Knowledge, abilities and skills required:
-
Ability to travel, approx. 40%
-
2-4 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality or Purchasing, in a multinational. environment, as well as in adjacent disciplines like Logistics, Supply Chain are welcomed.

Confidence and ability to interact internally and externally at different organizational levels.
-
Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi).

Be comfortably operating in shopfloor environment at supplier.

Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Tools and Techniques (VSM, TPM, OEE, 5S, SMED, line balancing, wastes elimination).

Basic knowledge in Quality and material flow.

Proficient in digital communication.

Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Work efficiently and proactively to deliver results.
