Job Description

We are currently seeking a Supply Planner to join our team of skilled professionals based at our Brampton location. 

The Supply Planner is responsible for optimizing inventory balance across the supply chain network to support service levels, production efficiency and cost objectives. This role analyzes demand trends, manages planning parameters, and works closely with manufacturing, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure product availability and responsive planning.

The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with the ability to balance short-term priorities and long-term planning needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Supply Planner plays a key role in the Supply Review process, supporting the S&OP/IBP cycle.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute supply plans based on historical data, demand trends, production capacity, and inventory targets.

  • Monitor inventory levels and replenishment strategies to support service goals while minimizing excess stock.

  • Analyze production and material requirements, capacity constraints, and inventory forecasts, to support monthly S&OP processes.

  • Manage planning parameters such as safety stock, classifications, lead times, and inventory targets.

  • Support long-term network planning, material sourcing decisions and production planning initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate planning data in ERP and related systems.

  • Identify supply risks, shortages and bottlenecks, partnering with manufacturing, procurement, sales and customer service to resolve them.

  • Collaborate to align supply with business needs.

  • Maintain the plant matrix for product distribution

  • Track supply and demand alignment, manufacturing efficiencies, production performance and inventory KPIs

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and analyses to support decision-making and continuous improvement

  • Provide backup for other planning positions

  • Other duties as required

 Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in supply chain, business, operations or a related field.

  • Experience in supply planning, inventory management, or production planning.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Presentation and facilitation skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

  • Certificates - APICS or other recognized supply chain certifications

  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black belt) an asset
