Responsibilities:
- Demand Planning in a high volume environment with frequent changes in customer requirements
- Forecasting with older system tools and cross-functional collaboration
- Real-time data analysis to anticipate and mitigate gaps or surpluses
- Production planning and scheduling across multiple lines and facilities, balancing constraints such as labor, equipment uptime, and material availability, often making fast adjustments due to unforeseen disruptions
- Manage supplier sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing to ensure fast, cost-effective procurement under tight deadlines
- Oversee all shipping, receiving, and consumables inventory (on-site and off-site) to maintain constant supply flow in a high-pressure environment
- Inventory management of raw ingredients and finished goods, using a hands on approach to reconcile discrepancies and prioritize urgent issues that impact production
- Delivers concise, actionable reports and insights to leadership, often under time pressure, to support rapid operational and strategic decisions
- Leads structured but fast-paced meetings with internal teams and stakeholders to review backorders, aging reports, purchase orders, production schedules, and delivery ETAs, ensuring alignment and swift resolution of outstanding issues
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, with demonstrated exposure to multiple functional areas such as production and demand planning, and inventory control
- Sales forecast-to-planning analysis, including evaluating demand trends, inventory consumption, and developing seasonal putdown strategies to optimize market advantage and plant capacity utilization
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management or industry-related (Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics)
- MRP/ERP system experience
- Previous experience managing a team of direct reports and ability to assess required labor increases/reductions
- Collecting relevant data on productivity and customer demand to improve, identify change, and improve supply chain processes
