As a Supply Chain intern, you will support inventory management, planning, logistics coordination, order processing, and reporting activities across the supply chain function. This role provides hands-on exposure to the operational and analytical components of a pharmaceutical supply chain.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Inventory Management:
Update daily stock levels, tracking sheets, and ageing reports
Assist with cycle counts and variance investigations
Support improvement of inventory visibility tools and trackers
2. Order Processing & Logistics:
Assist with order entry and checking order accuracy
Coordinate with warehouse/3PL partners for delivery arrangements
Track order status, delays, and exceptions
Maintain delivery and fulfilment records
3. Supply Chain Reporting:
Prepare weekly and monthly KPI dashboards (OTIF, stock ageing, accuracy)
Support data validation and consolidation from multiple sources
Provide insights on supply risks or service trends
4. Process Improvement:
Assist in updating supply chain SOPs
Support continuous improvement projects (process mapping, waste reduction)
Participate in cross-functional discussions with commercial and warehouse teams
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with good problem-solving ability
Comfortable learning systems, spreadsheets, and data tracking
Able to commit to at least 10 weeks
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of your internship, you will have:
Understanding of pharma supply chain processes and standard
Knowledge of inventory management tools and KPI tracking
Exposure to logistics coordination and warehouse operations
Development of analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Practical skills in Excel, dashboards, and documentation
