Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Uniquely Yours.
We are looking for a Supply Chain Business Development Director who brings a strong technical and engineering foundation, hands-on manufacturing experience, and the business mindset to drive transformation and step changes across our supply chain network.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and business strategy - driving end-to-end delivery of innovation and renovation initiatives from concept through commercialization. The ideal candidate is a technically grounded leader who can leverage deep knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain to unlock growth, challenge the status quo, and deliver meaningful change at scale.
If you come from a background in Supply Chain Operations, Engineering, Program/Project Management, or Strategy with the required technical foundation, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape how we bring new products and capabilities to market.
What You Will Do
Strategic Planning & Network Optimization
- Partner with site leadership to develop and execute the site strategy and plant roadmap, integrating innovation and renovation plans into long-term supply plans
- Lead network design and optimization, including long-term capacity planning and multi-year scenario modeling to identify investment, divestment, plant consolidation, and greenfield opportunities
- Provide strategic thought leadership through scenario brainstorming, identification of project interdependencies, best practice sharing, and structured output review with senior stakeholders
- Develop and implement growth and productivity strategies in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Finance, R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing - ensuring alignment across the full value chain
- Serve as the key interface between Category, Commercial, Engineering, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to align priorities and drive decisions
- Lead capacity and sourcing assessments to address current and future supply and demand gaps
- Support the development of the site CAPEX budget in partnership with Engineering, ensuring bottom-up capital planning and prioritization
Innovation & Commercialization (I2M / IIM)
- Lead the end-to-end commercialization of new innovation, from concept through to market launch
- Own and drive the Innovation-to-Market (I2M) and Initiative & Innovation Management (IIM) process at the site or cluster level
- Lead project verification and design reviews (DR4-DR7), ensuring all site readiness milestones are met
- Ensure effective planning and execution of change as it relates to new and existing products, packaging, and processes
- Lead site post-project evaluations and communicate outcomes to key stakeholders
Project Execution & Governance
- Drive consistency and quality in project execution using appropriate methodologies and tools (e.g., LEAN, Six Sigma, Agile, Stage-Gate)
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource plans
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks; escalate to leaders as needed
- Provide regular project reporting and status updates through scorecards, status reports, and stakeholder review meetings
- Confirm project completion, quality, and readiness to go live
Ongoing Business Simplification & Productivity
- Collaborate across functions and bakeries to continuously improve processes, deliver productivity, and support new product commercialization
- Integrate the overall site change management agenda to maintain service levels while delivering projects
- Manage ongoing reprioritization and de-complexity initiatives
- Ensure execution of regional and global menu cards and that manufacturing hurdle rates are met
Productivity
- Own Productivity delivery for your pillar including in-year NP deliverables and future year pipeline sufficiency development
- Support delivery of the site productivity and continuous improvement agenda
Stakeholder Management
- Own relationships with x-functional teams and manufacturing sites, ensuring quality assurance across all phases of project delivery
- Manage and influence stakeholders from tactical execution level through steering committee, driving alignment and effective decision-making
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build high-performing, cross-functional teams across internal and external partners
We are looking for a technically strong leader - ideally with an engineering background and manufacturing experience - who combines operational depth with the commercial acumen and entrepreneurial drive to deliver transformation and step-change results.
Experience & Background
- Technical or engineering degree (or equivalent experience) with a strong foundation in manufacturing, process engineering, or supply chain operations
- Significant hands-on manufacturing experience in a CPG or FMCG environment - with a deep understanding of plant operations, process improvement, and technical problem-solving
- Proven experience in supply chain operations, program/project management, or strategy
- Demonstrated experience in network design, capacity planning, and multi-year scenario modeling - including investment, divestment, consolidation, and greenfield analysis
- Demonstrated experience in commercializing new products or innovations - from pipeline development through to launch execution
- Track record of driving transformation and step-change improvements - not just incremental gains - through cross-functional collaboration and strategic execution
- Track record of developing and implementing growth and/or productivity strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing processes, including commercialization (I2M or equivalent)
- Familiarity with capital budgeting, resource planning, and financial aspects of project delivery
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), 5S, LEAN, and Six Sigma tools and methodologies

- Knowledge of relevant business processes and supporting technology solutions (ERP, MES, etc.)
Leadership & Mindset
- Entrepreneurial and transformation-oriented mindset - able to identify growth opportunities, challenge the status quo, and drive step-change results with a bias for action
- Strong business acumen - understands how engineering and supply chain decisions translate into commercial outcomes and category growth
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) - able to engage effectively from shop floor to executive steering committee
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to positively influence decision-making across functions and levels
- Strategic thinker with the ability to excel in leading tactical, hands-on programs
