We’re currently hiring Supplier Quality Managers – Spares to strengthen our Service Business Line Supplier Quality team.

In this role, you’ll ensure our global suppliers deliver to the highest quality standards, driving performance, compliance, and supplier development across your assigned geography.

Your responsibilities
  • Own and lead the quality performance of spares suppliers within your region.

  • Conduct and maintain supplier quality system audits, ensuring full compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Develop corrective and preventive action plans and ensure effective follow-up.

  • Oversee and execute inspection activities, coordinating with third-party service providers when needed.

  • Monitor inspection efficiency and cost-effectiveness, including supplier back-charges as per SLAs.

  • Lead Corrective Action (CAR) and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes based on supplier non-conformance reports.

  • Partner with Procurement and Service Line Managers on supplier development initiatives.

  • Collaborate with our Quality Engineering team in GBC India to support quality dossier reviews.

  • Implement and ensure compliance with global quality policies, KPIs, and best practices.

  • Contribute to global quality initiatives to promote standardization and excellence across FLSmidth.

  • Report directly to the respective General Manager of Supplier Quality Management (East/West).

What you bring
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Control in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.

  • Strong knowledge of Supplier Quality Management processes, technical documentation, and specifications.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Broad understanding of production processes — experience with materials such as rubber or polyurethane is an advantage.
