You will develop and implement accounting practices and procedures and interpret and provide data from accounting records. You will also coordinate accounting services and integrate them with operating needs. In addition, you will support the global management of key processes like fixed assets, leases, intercompany cross charges, new accounting rules, restructuring programs, and accounting for joint ventures, among others.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Develop end to end efficient global Intercompany process design that meets internal and external reporting needs for accounting and tax
- Deliver design and ensure delivery of plan to agreed S4 timelines and budget for integration of Blackline Intercompany Non-Trade and Blackline Balance and Resolve to S4
- Lead the implementation of Blackline intercompany releases ensuring successful deployment to the productive system following successful testing
- Oversee the leads in Direct Tax, Transfer Pricing and Indirect Tax and Regional Intercompany leads in relation to Intercompany to ensure end to end design, development, testing and delivery
- Ensure clarity on process and technology solutions that address business requirements.
- Facilitate end to end integration and alignment with other workstreams including non-finance e.g. STP, OTC, Vendor and Customer Master data, MTI etc
- Produce functional design documents for review and sign off
- Ensure all test cases for Intercompany are available and complete. Secure testing resources and lead to ensure timely and accurate delivery of test case execution.
- Ensure any defects are fixed, tested and closed
- Ensure training documentation completed, and training executed for all users globally. Ensure training material secured for future use by the organisation with clear ownership determined
- Ensure BPO SOPs updated in line with new process and systems
What you will bring

- First-hand experience of leading accounting country or cluster team including Intercompany processes and reporting
- Experience leading complete finance workstream in transformation programs
- Experienced in delivering finance projects with multiple outsourced partners
- You can work independently, as well as in project teams and take ownership and responsibility.
- Creative and leading edge thinking to drive standardisation, harmonisation and efficiency in Intercompany
- You are skilled in problem solving and have significant experience in delivering large scale projects on time and to required standards
- Pro-active, drive for results and excellent communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
More about this role
Education / Certifications:
- Degree in accounting or finance
- A professional chartered accounting qualification
- Extensive experience in senior financial management roles in FMCG
Travel requirements:
- Occasional travel may be required during project implementation to different regions but expected to be limited
