Objective of the position:
Identifies, coaches, and manages suppliers according to organization quality standards and policies. Provides advice and training on quality protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and applicable government standards. Negotiates service level agreements, performance/quality metrics and ensuring contractual obligations are met. Resolves supplier problems related to quality, performance, and service level. Identifies and certifies alternative suppliers to mitigate supply disruption risks.

Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded):
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality standards.
- Familiarity with quality tools (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, Pareto, FMEA).
- Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in job field and working knowledge of related disciplines
- Uses analytical thought to independently solve complex problems with minimal guidance and identify solutions
- May lead team or department projects or work streams within broader projects
- Acts as an advisor to management and key external stakeholders on job field related projects

Main Functions:
- Identifies, coaches, and manages suppliers according to organization quality standards and policies.
- Provides advice and training on quality protocols and conduct audits to ensure compliance with organization and applicable government standards.
- Document audit findings and follow up on corrective actions. Prepare regular reports on supplier quality trends and improvement initiatives. Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as defect rates, delivery quality, and audit scores. Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier-related quality issues. Negotiates service level agreements, performance/quality metrics and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- -Resolves supplier problems related to quality, performance, and service level. Support implementation of quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and control plans at supplier sites.
