Main Responsabilities
Industrial Painting Processes
- Knowledge of coating systems (electrostatic, liquid, powder).
- Control of coating thickness, curing, and surface quality.
Regulations and Safety
- Familiarity with painting standards, OSHA.
- Risk management in classified areas.
Quality Control
- Use of inspection tools (thickness gauges, adhesion tests).
- Defect analysis and application of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
Equipment Management and Maintenance
- Operation and calibration of spray booths, ovens, and ventilation systems.
- Preventive maintenance planning.
Materials Management
- Selection and handling of paints, solvents, and chemicals.
- Inventory control and waste reduction.
- Documentation and Audits
- Preparation of procedures, instructions, and reports.
- Conducting internal and external audits.
What Skills You Need
- Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process of paint. Operates in a team environment.
- Contribute to the design of engineering solutions to support the development and validation of cost reduction
- Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice.
- Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised (6 months to 3 years)
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
