Job DescriptionKey targets of the job profile: Support WW SQM Organization to Purchasing, Supplier Development, Project Management, R&D, Supply Chain Management, Sales and BA Quality Management regarding , leading Improvement Programs with Serial Production Suppliers, drive the Supplier Escalation Process across the entire BA and support the Plant SQAs on Supplier Complaint Management Process.
1. Leadership
▪ Providing SQM Team with the necessary resources to perform the Strategic, Technical and Plant Service
functions
▪ Coordinating and execution of SQM strategy globally
▪ Ensuring our WW procedures fullfills our Customer Requirements
2. Cooperation
▪ WW support & coordination in supplier affairs with external OEM and Serial Production Suppliers
with the internal functions like Purchasing/Supplier Development/Production/ Plant Quality and
Purchasing, Supply Chain and Sales
▪ WW cooperation with technical areas such as R&D, Project and Quality Management
3. Supplier Escalation / Supplier Improvement
▪ Executing and supporting Supplier Complaint Management on request in BA Plant
▪ Driving the ContiTech and SSL Supplier Escalation Process
▪ Leading initiatives fo complex and cross functional improvement programs of WW Serial Production Suppliers
▪ Leading and empowering SQA team trough daily basics training regarding complex process, systems and technology
4. Supplier Development
▪ Further Developing of WW Serial Production Suppliers
▪ Develop and consult new/improved raw material manufacturing processes together with WW Serial Production Material Suppliers
▪ Develop and permanently improve a high level supplier process know how
▪ Request/Review/Store Supplier Quality Certificates
▪ Supporting SD-Department in the yearly based Supplier Evaluation Process
5. Technical Assistance
▪ Monitoring accurate support for risk assessment of Serial Production Suppliers, Capacity Analysis
▪ Monitoring/leading/supporting colleagues WW with complex technical knowledge regarding Manufacturing process
and Q systems
▪ Monitoring/supporting the Global Purchasing Strategy
▪ Creating/monitoring/supporting the SSL SQM Global Standards
- Bachelor`s degree (Master or equivalent preferred) with technical background or comerciial background, certified VDA 6.3 auditor
- min. 3 years experience in operations and/or Quality Management and/or R&D and or Purchasing, strong technical background including Project Management, language skills English, Competent in customer/supplier communication and conflict management
- mechanical processing, foil and and artificial leather production processes, supplier production processes (e.g. knitting, ….)
- leading small project teams in the past (2-6 people)
- participation in international teams and/or international projects, communication with international suppliers and customers
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree with technical or commercial background
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Certified VDA 6.3 auditor
- Minimum 3 years experience in operations, Quality Management, R&D, or Purchasing
