What's the Short Version?
The Supervisor, Strategic/Channel Inside Sales directly supervises and coaches a high-performing team of Account Executives focused on strategic channels and/or key accounts. They carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This role serves as a critical execution leader, partnering closely with Outside Sales Channel Managers and Strategic Account Managers to accelerate customer development, revenue growth, and market share within assigned strategic segments in full alignment with senior leadership direction. Through exceptional leadership, the Supervisor, Strategic Sales builds a high-energy, results-driven culture that consistently exceeds targets and advances enterprise objectives.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Lead a specialized, high-impact team while remaining actively engaged in day-to-day execution.
- Apply seasoned expertise and deep business acumen to solve complex challenges with creativity and precision.
- Responsible for aligning their team with the department, functional and company goals and guiding principles.
- Receive objectives and work closely with the Sr Manger to determine the optimal path to achieve—and exceed—them across diverse industries, sophisticated customers, and intricate workflows.
- Strategically delegate responsibilities, leveraging advanced judgment to align tasks with individual strengths, company policies, and best practices.
- Tailor coaching style to their individual team members using the different methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results as trained.
- Oversee all aspects of team daily operations—productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, attendance, and call performance—with rigor and consistency.
- Keep the team fully informed of product updates, process changes, customer insights, and organizational developments.
- Prepare performance evaluations and meet with team members by scheduled deadlines.
- Partner closely with Outside Sales Channel Managers and Strategic Account Managers to align the team behind the shared vision set by senior leadership.
- Partner with Inside Sales leadership to provide critical input and execute initiatives that shape channel, strategic customer, and departmental direction.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate Inside Sales policies, procedures and systems leading to improvements.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years as an account manager, leading or supervising sales teams, or related experience

What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $80,170 - $120,000 (WA, NJ); $73,756 - $110,400 (MN, NV, TX, VA); $68,946 - $103,200 (AZ, ID, FL MT, OH, TN) annually, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

Remote: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
