GRAIL is seeking a Client Integration Enablement Specialist to drive successful onboarding and activation of client integrations across a rapidly expanding portfolio of partners and integration pathways.
This role sits at the intersection of clinical workflows, healthcare technology, and client engagement, serving as a strategic partner to health systems, digital health companies, and provider organizations. The individual will lead client-facing integration efforts, ensuring seamless adoption of Galleri ordering and results workflows across multiple platforms, including Epic (Aura), Athena, Quest, point-to-point HL7 integrations, and other lab platforms.
This role is highly cross-functional and requires the ability to translate between clinical, technical IT, and operational stakeholders to enable scalable, high-quality integrations.
You are approved to work remotely from your City and State. While your primary workplace is your home, you may be required to travel occasionally to a GRAIL office or other locations to perform your work or attend team-related events.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary client-facing integration lead, guiding partners through onboarding, implementation, and activation.
- Support integration discovery, requirements alignment, and workflow design discussions with the client and internal stakeholders.
- Drive successful deployment of integrations across multiple pathways, including:
- Point-to-point HL7 integrations
- Epic Aura integrations
- Athena Integrations
- Quest hub-and-spoke integrations
- Digital health and non-standard workflows
- Ensure alignment between client workflows and GRAIL capabilities to support scalable, compliant implementations.
- Internal Planning and execution of future infrastructure enhancements to facilitate scalable Integrations.
- Possesses Knowledge in clinical workflows and EHR integration best practices.
- Validate and optimize ordering, resulting, billing, and operational workflows.
- Bridge the gap between clinical operations and technical implementation.
- Provide guidance on clinical decision support, patient identification, and workflow optimization strategies.
- Guide partners on integration architecture, including:
- HL7 (ORM/ORU), FHIR, and API-based integrations
- Hub-and-spoke vs. point-to-point models
- Data mapping and workflow configuration
- Support requirements definition, solution design, and integration specifications.
- Partner with internal software, product, and engineering teams to translate client needs into scalable solutions.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-to-end workflow validation.
- Ensure integrations meet quality, performance, and operational standards prior to go-live.
- Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, education, and escalation management.
- Monitor post-launch performance and support issue resolution.
- Partner with Customer Service, Lab Operations, and Product teams to address workflow or integration gaps.
- Identify opportunities for scalability, standardization, and process improvement.
- Support training and provide SME support to commercial and field teams.
- Develop integration playbooks, best practices, and enablement materials.
- Support deal strategy and client conversations as a technical and workflow expert.

Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA with 2+ years or Master’s with 1+ years of experience in:
- Clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or EHR integrations
- Client-facing implementation or consulting roles
- Strong understanding of:
- Healthcare workflows (clinical, operational, billing)
- EHR systems (Epic, Athena, Cerner, etc.)
- Integration standards (HL7, FHIR, APIs)
- Experience leading client implementations and cross-functional projects.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Travel requirement of 10% as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Epic (including Aura), Athena, Quest, or lab integrations.
- Epic certifications (Bridges, Beaker, Ambulatory, or related).
- Experience with diagnostic labs, oncology, or population health programs.
- Familiarity with clinical decision support (CDS) and patient engagement workflows.
- Client-facing leadership and consultative approach.
- Deep understanding of clinical + technical workflow intersection.
- Ability to operate in a high-growth, ambiguous environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Process-oriented mindset with focus on scalability and quality.
