The Design Technologist builds Adobe templates, automations, documentation, and workflows that improve fashion design efficiency. They train designers and merchandisers, evaluate AI and 3D tools, develop prompt libraries and SOPs, manage digital assets, identify workflow improvements, and support the Design Studio technology roadmap. The role partners closely with design, merchandising, and operations teams and may provide peer coaching and workshops.

Leads apparel product development and production across brands and categories, from concept through commercialization. Manages suppliers, costing, margins, quality, compliance, capacity, delivery, and risk mitigation while collaborating with design, merchandising, sourcing, planning, and technical teams. Researches materials and industry trends, negotiates vendor relationships, supports responsible sourcing, and coaches product development staff. Requires frequent domestic and international travel to suppliers and factories.

Leads product and brand direction across private-label and licensed retail brands. Develops seasonal concepts, product narratives, creative strategies, and detailed design assets across apparel, bags, accessories, and headwear. Partners with merchandising and cross-functional teams to ensure commercially viable, brand-consistent execution. Interprets trends and consumer insights, mentors designers, influences senior stakeholders, and maintains product-brand clarity across the portfolio.

Reviews new and existing customer credit applications and files, evaluates financial information and risk, makes credit decisions, and negotiates solutions with customers. The role communicates with internal teams, determines custom-order deposits and terms, monitors customer segments, maintains account records, and provides reporting. It requires credit or accounts receivable experience, analytical and negotiation skills, strong communication, organization, and independent decision-making.

Coordinates daily warehouse workflow by monitoring restock and order volumes, assigning tasks, estimating completion times, and communicating with leadership and coworkers. Trains employees on production and safety procedures, inspects and operates equipment, maintains productivity, and adapts priorities as needed. The role requires warehouse experience, physical lifting, attention to detail, basic math and literacy, RF system use, and potential lift-equipment certification.

Builds and releases warehouse orders using internal operating systems, prioritizes daily workflow, estimates processing times, coordinates resources, and supports pallet building and restocking. Communicates with leadership and coworkers, maintains accurate productivity and attendance, operates assigned equipment safely, and keeps the work area clean. Requires basic math, attention to detail, organization, multitasking, and the ability to adapt priorities and work independently or collaboratively.

Supports enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple sites by configuring, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting switches, routing, wireless, and connectivity services. Resolves escalated network tickets, responds to outages, maintains documentation and network maps, supports infrastructure projects, manages inventory, participates in compliance and change processes, and provides on-call and after-hours support. Periodic travel to remote locations is required.

Supervises training and onboarding for Accounts Receivable and Credit teams, ensuring consistent processes, policies, documentation, and customer-service standards. Oversees training materials, refresher sessions, performance evaluations, productivity metrics, and policy implementation. Partners with QA, supervisors, project teams, and department leadership on process improvements, new-system rollouts, cross-functional projects, and employee development.

Owns architecture, standards, modernization, and operations for SanMar’s hybrid compute platform across Windows, Linux, VMware, and Azure. Designs cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, automation pipelines, identity, containers, storage, observability, backup, and disaster recovery. Leads lifecycle management, complex infrastructure projects, incident response, vendor relationships, documentation, and mentoring. Serves as the highest-level technical escalation point for complex platform issues and participates in after-hours on-call support.

Leads SanMar’s finance operating platform, overseeing accounting, AP, AR, payroll, banking operations, technical accounting, controls, reporting, shared services, and finance transformation. The role modernizes processes and technology, ensures U.S. GAAP compliance and balance-sheet integrity, manages working-capital performance, supports acquisitions and international entities, and leads a large multifunctional finance organization in partnership with the CFO and other executives.

The Associate Technical Designer manages garment fit, specifications, patterns, tech packs, construction drawings, and sample development for an assigned apparel category. Responsibilities include measuring and auditing prototypes, conducting fit sessions, updating patterns and technical documentation, communicating specifications to cross-functional teams and suppliers, and supporting production deadlines. The role requires apparel technical design experience, garment construction and pattern-making knowledge, Adobe Illustrator and Excel proficiency, and familiarity with Gerber AccuMark or equivalent software.
