The role serves as the primary link between the fund manager, portfolio teams, and institutional clients. Responsible on every Fund operations topic towards clients and prepare regular reporting to the Fund’s Board of Directors. The candidate will report to the Senior Manager of Client Relationship Team and will also work in close collaboration with Oversight team and other AIFM teams.
What you’ll be doing- Being the point of contact for day-to-day client
- Reporting to the Board of the Fund on a quarterly basis, attend service review meetings in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Ensure the day-to-day fund operations is well performed and perform controls on delegated duties of the funds under management (e.g. Central Administration, Investment Manager / Investment Advisor, Depositary, distributors) but also for internal delegates.
- Responsible for the investigation and resolution of any day-to-day queries, issues and incidents internal or external
- Overseeing the issuance of invoices to clients, monitoring the cash collection and chasing where required
- Reporting to the ExCo / Board of the Management Company on the status on the oversight of the delegated activities and on the status of the AML/KYC on assets, investors.
- Support the client on-boarding process and the implementation of service level agreements / operating memorandum
- Knowledge of oversight framework and serve as contact for service providers on all fund and operation-related Analyze KPI's (Assess the Operational KPIs with internal and external delegates).
- To support the oversight team with delegated functions to external or internal parties; monitor the performance of the delegates and service providers, participate with onsite Due Diligence visits to perform the ongoing supervision of the delegates and service providers.

- Monitor and improve the implementation of Policies, Procedures and Controls by supporting the Risk/Compliance function new policies draft where required.
- Knowledge of onboarding, KYC and CDD process
- Previous successful client facing experience and particularly in a similar function within a (3rd Party or proprietary) AIFM in Luxembourg
- As a result of study and experience, possess a comprehensive understanding of Luxembourg fund industry, technical knowledge of fund structures and a good understanding of local regulatory requirements and sound knowledge of the oversight framework.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in private equity and private assets
- Ability to interact with Institutional and customers, product knowledge of alternative assets is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in certain cases
- A solution-driven attitude to problems
- Fluency in English, both written & Any other language is an asset.

This role is based in our Luxembourg office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working.
