-The Manufacturing Line Setup Technician is responsible for preparing, configuring, and validating production lines to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role ensures production readiness by setting up equipment, tools, materials, and line configurations in accordance with work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.
Preferred Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and measuring devices.
- Ability to read work instructions, setup sheets, and production documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work safely and follow standard operating procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with line changeovers or machine setup.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for production equipment.
- Experience with Microsoft Software products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Power BI, D365)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift materials and tools as required by the role.
- Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the production area.
