Position Summary:
The Interim Leadership Intern will support the Interim Leadership and Professional Services teams by assisting with recurring executive-level reporting, operational analytics, and order management. This role plays a critical part in supporting weekly and monthly deliverables shared with the VP of Interim Leadership and senior leadership, while helping ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple systems. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to executive reporting, healthcare staffing operations, and data-driven decision-making.
Scope of Work & ResponsibilitiesAssist in building weekly Interim Leadership Business Snapshot reports and monthly Professional Services Leadership Review decks, including calls and cases metrics, case close times and SLA tracking, lead volume metrics, placement trends, earned extensions, goal tracking, and performance indicators
Maintain and update Excel-based tracking tools used for leadership and operational reporting (e.g., earned extensions trackers, calls and cases tables, goal tracking files)
Pull, validate, and reconcile data from Salesforce/JobScience reports, SharePoint files, and Excel trackers to ensure consistency and data accuracy
Support ShiftWise order management activities, including creating, updating, auditing, and maintaining orders within the system
Assist with ad hoc data requests, trend analysis, and process improvement initiatives as needed by leadership and operational teams
Experience creating executive-level weekly and monthly reporting for senior leadership
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including data validation, tracking tools, and presentation-ready reporting
Hands-on exposure to healthcare staffing operations, Interim Leadership workflows, and Professional Services support
Data analytics skills, including pulling, validating, reconciling, and interpreting data across multiple systems
Experience working with enterprise systems such as Salesforce/JobScience, SharePoint, and ShiftWise (VMS)
Understanding of operational KPIs, SLAs, goal tracking, and performance metrics
Improved attention to detail and data accuracy in a high-impact reporting environment
Exposure to process improvement initiatives and ad hoc analytical problem-solving
Professional communication skills through collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
0–2 years of related experience
3.0 GPA

Pay Rate$17.25 - $20.50 HourlyFinal pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
